“Let’s Go, Pistachio!”

The Mommies Reviews

Kelli Welli is a children’s music composer who produced “Let’s Go, Pistachio!” a CD I received in exchange for this review.

Charlie and I enjoyed listening to the CD featuring Country Music with a side of Humor thrown in. Allowing Charlie to learn and study Country Music in our Homeschooling class.

Charlie loved listening to “Kickin’ It with My Chicken,” while doing the Chicken Dance in our Physical Class. The CD is a googly-eyed special edition CD available for pre-orders via Bandcamp and KelliWelli.com

On the CD is 15 songs created and written by Kelli Welli. Including The Hat Song which got Charlie I out into the mall walking and exercising while looking for unique and different hats which we could use in our Homeschool Art Class.

The next song Charlie and I listened to was “The Smilers,” a Bluegrass tune allowing Charlie to study Bluegrass Music and we discussed how to deal with a dark day which we all have.

The next day Charlie and I took a Field Trip to our local Ice Cream store to pick up Pistachio Ice Cream for our snack which we had in our Music Class while listening to “Let’s Go Pistachio”.

Once Charlie and I finished listening to my CD I let my mother in law Sherry use the CD. Sherry is Potty Training Dixie and she let her listen to “Tinkle Tinkle Toot” .

My niece Dixie is learning how to Brush her own teeth. Sherry played “Tonight I’ll Be Brushing One Less Tooth for her and Payton and she caught on fast to what she should and shouldn’t do.

My sister Debbie came over I played Beatles-esque tune “I’ll Be a Butterfly,” We dressed up like Butterfly’s and flew through the yard for Free Play with Charlie.

My nephew isn’t one for waiting I let his mom knobout “I’m Waiting” and “We’re Almost Home.” and Alyssa is going to purchase the CD to play with them when they are out running errands.

When Covid-19 and the Pandemic is over I want to host a Girls Night only with my nieces I plan on playing “I’m Waiting” and “We’re Almost Home.” teaching the girls about Female Empowerment.

I want to sit down with my sister Debbie and listen to “I’m Proud of You,” because she has just began a new job. We can share stories of our mom. Kelli’s mom used to sing “I’m Proud of You,” to her.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
