Charlie and I get ready to purchase school supplies for this year, I knew one of the classes I wanted to teach in Homeschooling would be an Art class. With neither David or I being good at art I wasn’t sure how to teach Art. Or even where to look for Art classes for Charlie to take. That isn’t a problem anymore as we have a new book called Let’s Get Crafty with Paint & Cardboard.
I was sent to conduct a review Let’s Get Crafty with Paint & Cardboard the thoughts in this review are all mine and Charlies. With us using the crafts in Let’s Get Crafty with Paint & Cardboard we will have a stress free/ drama free Art class. When I have the time Charlie and I can create Crafts together which will allow us to make new memories. If David is home we can get him to do create art projects with us.
I like knowing the Crafts in Let’s Get Crafty with Paint & Cardboard match the lessons we will be learning in our school from Five In A Row.
This morning Charlie and I thumbed through Let’s Get Crafty with Paint & Cardboard and Charlie noticed the crafts are for children 2 and up which means we can ask his cousins to come over and create crafts with us. Jason will be three and Payton will be 3 as well soon.
In Homeschooling you know we are using Five In A Row and reading the Glorious Flight and inside Let’s Get Crafty with Paint & Cardboard is how to make an airplane. Which means Charlie and I can make a Airplane for our Art Lesson this week.
I like how Let’s Get Crafty with Paint & Cardboard has the supply list written out for us and th supplies it ask for are items we normally have in our home. Even on the days we can’t get out we will still be able to create Arts & Crafts. Inside Let’s Get Crafty with Paint & Cardboard is also a project to make a Magnetic Bookmark we can make to give as Gifts for Christmas or any Holiday. we need a Gift for.
I like for Charlie to come up with Gifts he wants to give his grandparents. and Charlie has to earn the money to purchase Gifts. to the people on his Gift Giving List and sometimes Charlie isn’t able to earn the money as there aren’t any chores for him to do.
By making the Bookmakers Charlie would still have a Gift to give everyone on his Gift Giving list including his teachers if Charlie still went to public school and the Gifts would be personal and something they could keep forever. I know I would keep my Gift if Charlie made one for me.
If your looking for books to keep the kids busy this Summer you should check out Let’s Get Crafty with Paint & Cardboard and don’t forget to add the supplies you need to create the crafts with to your School Supply list. FYI Let’s Get Crafty with Paint & Cardboard would make a wonderful Gift for the children on your Gift Giving List.

These fun, colorful crafts are designed to bring out a young child’s creative side. The inventive ideas include a super space rocket, colorful rain stick, and cardboard castle. The emphasis is on teamwork, with adults helping with the tricky steps, such as cutting out, and the young children doing the fun and messy parts, such as gluing, painting, and decorating.
As well as being enjoyable, these cardboard crafts will help prepare children for school by developing their fine motor skills and encouraging them to concentrate on a task and complete it. The creative ideas will spark a child’s imagination and for both parent and child there will be great rewards in finishing a project. Best of all, getting crafty means enjoying some fun—and messy—time together.
