I picked up The Golden Ticket Game Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory a Board game for David. Then when we were in the Walmarts I found Life Magazine Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. David likes watching Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
I thought Charlie and David could read the articles together for our Homeschool Reading Class. This will allow Charlie to practice his reading while teaching his dad how to read.
Reading Class:
Read the Magazine then watch Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Then come share 5 facts you learned in the article that could be the same as the movie or different and explain why.
Write your explanation inside your Reading Journal.
Math Class:
Willy Wonka is celebrating 50 years and I would like for you to find 5 Math Releated items in the Life Article you can turn into Math problems for someone to work out.
Then I want them to create 5 math problems for you to work out.
Example:
Willy Wonka is celebrating 50 years. How many days is that? Multiply it by ten and that equals what?

Act out something you read in the Book and explain what your Acting out and why.
Write the description inside you Drama Journal.
