Legoland Discovery Center Grapevine Mills Mall

Last week I had planned on taking Charlie, Lily, Jason and Debbie to Legoland Discovery Center at Grapevine Mills Mall to spend the day playing.

The LORD had other plans and due to a Dentist Appointment we had to change the date to go to this Monday. All I can say is “THANK the LORD” because not only did Debbie go with me David and Alyssa did as well.

Being there Monday allowed us to celebrate David’s Birthday which was on Monday. Alyssa’s whose Birthday which was last Friday and this week on Friday is my niece Lily’s Birthday.

Once we arrived and checked in we all walked inside and on out to the Spash pad so the kids could play outside before it got to hot. I had fun watching Lily and Jason play and even Charlie and I got into the Water with them.

I like how there is tables all around so we could sit in one place and watch the kids play and not worry about someone bothering them. Once they finished playing they went into the Changing Room and we went inside and Charlie had so much fun taking Lily and Jason around.

I looked online and it says it takes about 3 hours to get through Legoland and I would like to let you know we were there for 7 hours and the kids still didn’t want to stop playing and neither did I.

Charlie even pointed out how Legoland can tie into Homeschool because my niece Alyssa is thinking of Homeschooling her children this year. If she does we want to buy annual pass so we can come back when we studying Space or Cars.

Having the Snack Bar inside made feeding everyone easy and we could take a break during the day. Alyssa, was so excited to find a Starbucks and couldn’t wait to get one.

Come get into the Spaceship the kids are ready to launch us into Space

Charlie thought being 13 he might get bored and not find things to do but with the Movie and Rides he had just as much fun as Lily and Jason did. The fun part was seeing Alyssa ride the ride when the kids along with David.

Lily let me know she loved the Movie and the Girls bench which she wanted to take home for her bedroom. Jason said he liked the Space room and seeing the Spaceship move.

Charlie liked the Maverick’s Basketball figure made of Lego;s and also being able to build a car and race it with Lily and Jason. David said he had the most fun watching Lily and Jason drive the Police Cars.

For me my favorite part was the Splash Pad and when we return I plan on bringing a change of clothes so I can play in the water with Lily and Jason and Charlie.

This is the Toddlers are and yes, Charlie is to big to be in here and so is Lily and Jason but they wanted to check it out for my niece and nephew when we return.

If your looking for the perfect excursion during the Summer then you should purchase the Combo Pass to Seal Life and Legoland and without leaving the Mall you could even visit Peppa Pig and round the day off at Round 1 the Arcade in the Mall or ride the Island Carousel in the Food Court and have dinner at Chili’s or Rainforest Cafe.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
