One of Charlie’s Homeschool Classes is Home Economics which has allowed Charlie and I to learn right along beside him. Today we will be discussing “rainbow babies”. Once Charlie and I finished discussing a rainbow babies Charlie said mom that is so sad it should be a happy time with a new baby but then there is the baby that isn’t here which is sad. How does a parent deal with this? I told Charlie I wasn’t sure, but we should pray for not only the parents but babies.
Then I sat down and talked to Charlie and let him know his cousin Alyssa had lost a baby before his Cousin Jason was born but Charlie was so young he wouldn’t remember that. I let Charlie know we shouldn’t ask Alyssa or David about that baby because it might make them sad and I’ve never heard of Alyssa or David never speak about the child. If it was me, I would like to think I would be different and talk about the baby all the time.. Which I can’t say for sure because thank the “LORD” I never had to deal with this, and I pray Charlie never has to.
The more Charlie and I talked the more we would like to find parents who’ve had a Rainbow Baby and bless them with a basket of baby products not only for the baby but for them as well. My friend Renee’s granddaughter is fighting Cancer for the second time and Charlie, and I will be ordering several of KeaBabies Luxe Organic Bamboo Baby Hooded Towel for her to use in the hospital because the towels there are rough and hurt her skin.
