NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 7, 2022) – Karissa Ella released her brand new single, “Beautiful Is You” today! This new song is all about embracing our inner beauty and it’s a reminder to stop getting so wrapped up in what the internet and society decide is beautiful. This song is a super personal one as Karissa has been directly affected by breast cancer in her family. In honor of those women and strong women everywhere, Karissa is thrilled to be donating all proceeds from her custom “Beautiful Is You” t-shirt to the Susan G. Komen Foundation during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Check them out here. Stream “Beautiful Is You” here:

“I wrote this song with Alex Seier and Leslie Satcher at the beginning of 2020 and have been holding on to it ever since. I finally decided it was time to put it out into the world for others to hear. The message in this song is pretty straightforward. It preaches self-love and to stop comparing yourself to others, which I understand is easier said than done. But, just by being your true authentic self, you show the world how beautiful you really are. Yes, makeup and silly filters are fun and maybe make us feel pretty for a second, but it’s what is on the inside that truly defines beauty. This is a reminder to myself and to everyone that there is only one YOU. You are so beautiful, loved, worthy and deserving of everything in this world. I hope this song resonates with you or even your children, and you walk away feeling confident, loved and strong,” says Karissa Ella.

She’s laying on her bed staring at a fashion magazine
Got it in her head that girl ain’t ever gonna, never gonna be me
And she’s right and shes wrong
Wish I could tell her how
Beautiful is everything you are
Beautiful, girl feel it in your heart
Cause It ain’t mascara and it ain’t the clothes
Look in the mirror baby, don’t you know
Beautiful is you

Karissa has been releasing new music this year produced by Casey Wood, who has credits with legends like Charlie Daniels, Reba McEntire and Randy Travis. Her ear for classic country paired with her unique country tone got her an invite to the Country Rebel ranch to sing a song for Country Music Hall of Famer Randy Travis himself. Watch her stunning rendition of “He Walked on Water” here: https://youtu.be/IPoadY1Tbrs. Karissa’s latest single “Hometown Bar” has racked up thousands of streams since its August release. She will be opening up for GRAMMY-nominated country singer, David Nail, at Nashville’s SkyDeck on Nov. 3 and making her Song Suffragettes debut on Nov. 21, 2022.
