June 30 National OOTD Day #NationalOOTDDay

I thought I would ask you if you know anything about this #Holiday that falls on June 30th which is National OOTD Day #NationalOOTDDay. National OOTD Day is for the fashionista’s we all have hidden inside us we should be celebrating our best outfit. For me that would be hard to do because most of my dress clothes are upstairs in David’s room in storage. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t share a picture of yourself in your best outfit. Later today I will see if Charlie will showcase what he thinks is his best outfit with us.

I wonder if it will be one of his dress shirts from Burlington I love. Or his suit we got Charlie for Christmas. Or his jeans and his black shirt that I need to purchase in a bigger size because from all of Charlie’s workouts the black shirt he usually wears is getting too tight. Hang tight because we might be in for a #fashionshow. Before you ask David doesn’t have a outfit he would like to model but we could go shopping and get David a new outfit to model if you feel like going shopping.

On National OOTD Day, is celebrated every on June 30th which showcase the fashionista inside you by sporting one of your best outfits. Not sure what ‘OOTD’ is? Well, it’s a Gen X term that means ‘outfit of the day.’ The short form of the term originated on social media when bloggers and fashion icons would post their outfits on platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. Since then, the term OOTD has taken on a life of its own and has turned into a famous hashtag used to define a trendy outfit. With the OOTD being so important for men and women across the globe, it’s not a surprise a day has been specifically dedicated to OOTD!

National OOTD Day was created by Stassi Schroeder, a star on the American reality television show called “Vanderpump Rules.” A show I hadn’t heard of before researching the holiday but one I plan on looking up. Have you heard of Vanderpump Rules and if so have you watched this show? What did you think of it and why?

National OOTD Day was created in 2018, based on Stassi’s favorite hashtag #OOTD. However, according to the influencer, the day is about more than simply making a fashion statement. National OOTD Day is about inspiring people to wear clothes that make them feel good about themselves. This is essential since feeling good can boost your confidence and can actually aid in creating a positive aura. According to Stassi, “When you have a great outfit on, your day is that much better, and in my opinion, you should honor that feeling with an OOTD which is why she created National OOTD Day!”

Stassi also feels that even if everything around you is falling apart, dressing like everything is perfect can actually have an impact on your perception and the way you feel. Most importantly, just because you are having a bad day does not mean you have to show it to the world! The reality TV star is also of the perception that styling yourself is an artistic way of expressing yourself. All you have to do is dedicate a few extra minutes every day to form a spectacular outfit that can make you feel comfortable, yet confident at the same time.

A great outfit will also make you a hit with brands and talent hunters are always on the look out for fresh faces, and what better way to make a statement than with a fabulous outfit! If you don’t know how to choose your OOTD? Here are some tips by Stassi that might help! First and foremost, analyze your body and figure out what type of outfit will suit you. Then pick out parts of your body that you want to highlight with your outfit. For instance, do you have majestic shoulders you want to show off? Then look for a outfit that highlights your shoulders. Then the next step is to choose the right color, and voila, you are all set to celebrate OOTD Day! Don’t forget to create visually appealing Instagram posts for your OOTD!
