I would like to share a review for what used to be Charlie’s favorite meal when he was little Mac & Cheese. Jovial was kind enough to send me ORGANIC GLUTEN FREE WHITE CHEDDAR MAC & CHEESE. Now, if you know Charlie the way I do he doesn’t care for Mac and Cheese made with Which Cheddar which David and I love. How about you. Do you like Mac & Cheese made with White Cheddar?
The other day I took out Pork Chops for dinner with Del Monte French Style Green Beans. Then I couldn’t decide between Mashed Potatoes or Stove Top Suffing when Charlie asked for Mac & Cheese. Since it was my turn to cook dinner. I decided I would prepare ORGANIC GLUTEN FREE WHITE CHEDDAR MAC & CHEESE.
I got out the boxes and read the directions on the back of the box and got out the ingredients I would need. I put the boxes out of site because I wanted Charlie and David to taste the Mac & Cheese before I let them know it was made with White Cheddar and that its Gluten Free. I finished fixing everything.
Then I had them come make their plates and I reminded them they had to try everything. We sat down at the dinner table. I said grace and we began to eat. I tried the Mac & Cheese which I liked the flavor of and there was the perfect amount of Chedder Cheese. David let me know he liked it a lot as well.
We kept eating and chatting about our day. I didn’t say anything to Charlie about the Mac & Cheese as I wanted to see what he had to say. Finally, Charlie said mom I will try it, but you know I don’t like these Noodles I like Shells. I kept eating but watching to see what Charlie would do. Charlie took a bite of the Mac & Cheese, and he ate all of it.
I waited for an expression on his face to let me know if he liked it or not. Before I could say anything, Charlie said mom these Noodles aren’t bad. The Cheese doesn’t taste like what we usually eat but it isn’t bad. I wouldn’t mind having this again. As they finished eating, I went and brought the box out.
David and Charlie were surprised to find out it was ORGANIC GLUTEN FREE WHITE CHEDDAR MAC & CHEESE from Jovial. I asked Charlie to read the box for us for his Homeshool Reading Class. Charlie got to Organic Gluten Free and both David and Charlie said that surprised them but because its better for us they will eat it again. C
Charlie read the story o Jovial and Charlie and David were impressed that it comes from a family of fifth generation artisans in Tuscany which Charlie said we should study this year. Charlie and David liked how easy it it to make the Mac & Cheese and they had fun checking out different recipes to use with the Mac & Cheese which I hope you check out.
