Join us for Getting UP & Move! This Summer as I am a mom who has always hated having her children sit inside when it is pretty. They should go outside and play. So I started a new Challenge both children and adults can do. The challenge is Get Up & Move this Summer, and it is where children get up and move for at least 20 minutes a day. I would like to say they must go outside but they do not have to as long as they are Up and Moving!!
There aren’t any rules for the challenge other than your children will get up and move for 20 minutes a day. Yes, they can do this inside as long as they are running. Charlie was playing Soccer this Summer, and while he did I would walk, and this would get our time in each day. But now Soccer is over. So Join us in Getting UP & Move! This Summer and see how we manage to move for 20 minutes a day.
We need to find new things to do to make sure we get up and move. So on Mondays and also on Fridays, we will be going Bowling. Because during the Summer children can bowl 2 games for free. So I signed up our family to do this.By going bowling, it means David and I will be up moving as well.
Then we can go to the parks and play, and I will be able to walk, or we can also use my Treadmill and step on it. If we can’t find something else to do, we can turn on YouTube and play some music and dance.
