Atlanta, GA — October 25, 2024 After 12 years of revolutionizing natural hair care, PuffCuff—a Black Woman-owned brand that creates pain-free hair clamps—is facing its toughest challenge yet. In true community spirit, the brand is hosting a special Rent Party on November 2, 2024, at the Sistah Shop in Atlantic Station from 4 to 7 p.m., where it will raise funds in real time to cover essential costs to continue to operate.
This is in keeping with the tradition of historic rent parties, where communities gather to support neighbors facing financial hardship. The event will feature live product demonstrations and interactive giveaways, all under a 70s party theme.
Founder Ceata Lash reflects, “We’ve faced every challenge head-on—blood, sweat, tears, highs, lows, and everything in between. PuffCuff has proven itself as a viable product and a global brand. Now, we’re at a critical point. It’s not the end, but it’s clear we need strategic partners and investors to reach the next level. That’s why we’re launching the PuffCuff Rent Party, to bridge the gap until those partners and investors sign on. The support now will keep our doors open and allow us to continue building this legendary brand. Every bit helps as we work toward securing PuffCuff’s future and reaching new heights.”
In addition to the rent party donations and products purchased on thepuffcuff.com will directly support the company’s efforts to remain operational, provide natural hair solutions, and grow its impact.
