Joe’s Coffee Shop in Watauga – The Mommies Reviews

When Suzzie was still here she went to a Christian School in Watauga. Everett my Ex would drop her off at Joe’s Coffee Shop to have breakfast while she waited for the school to open.

Now that she is gone the same waitress is at Joe’s Coffee Shop in Watauga and I like to go here for Breakfast and Lunch. They offer specials including Hamburger Steak with Onions inside the meat.

The waitress I know will sing Happy Birthday to you and she should have been in the Opera as loud as she sings and she did to David one time and he says never again.. LOL But you wait I will take David back and have her sing to him again and Charlie as well.

My mom used to love coming to Joe’s Coffee Shop in Watauga to have a piece of Cake. If your around 2 they offer half price on there Pie. Even though Covi19 has a lot of businesses closed you can still come and pick up food to take home with you.

Don’t you love the picture of David’s face.. Can you figure out why he has that look on his face? It’s because he is trying to decide what he would like to eat and the waitress is making suggestions for him to chose from.

Two peas in a pod together again. Charlie and Bradley can you tell they are tired. They stayed up all night. But Bradley hadn’t even been to Joe’s Coffee Shop and we wanted to bring him for Pancakes.

The funny part is even though they have Cereal. Charlie likes to eat Breakfast here he opted not to eat this morning and tried to sleep on our table. Goofy kid…

Coffee anyone? I even had a cup and the Coffee wasn’t to strong and they had the Cream I like to use. If Mimi had been here we would still be here drinking Coffee with her and David.

Check out the specials they have above and also look at the Menu as they offer Lunch Specials. I have a tip for you… You can change your Veggies for a piece of pie and before you ask yes, I have done that a lot.

David, ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs but instead of two Eggs e asked for three. I don’t know where he is going to put all that food but he ate every last bite.

The Chicken Fried Steak also comes on there Lunch Special. Its so good and tender and the gravy is great. Our Eggs was cooked Over Medium and was done perfectly.

I ordered Two Over Medium Eggs, Hash browns, and Sausage Patties next time I am going to get Sausage Links or Eckrich Sausage with Toast. My breakfast was perfect and I can’t wait to order it in the future.

I may be the only person that does this but I have to have a Bowl of Gravy for my Hash Browns and sometimes I dip my Sausage or Toast in the Gravy. But even though you get Gravy with Biscuits if you order it with Toast they charge you. Neither the waitress or I understood that. Do you?

Bradley ordered the Pancake Meal with a Egg and chose a Scrambled Egg and Bacon and Hash Browns. Bradley loved his breakfast and even had Left Overs for lunch.

The decor here is Country and will make you feel right at home. The staff is so kind and you will always find the owner working right along side his staff.
