It’s hard to believe Suzzane has been gone since 2004 and there is still restaurants she loved that I eat at in Memory of her. But Joe’s Coffee Shop in one of those restaurants.
Not only that my mom and I used to have lunch there and we would order a piece of Pie for dessert and sometimes we just went for dessert to treat ourselves after a busy week at work.
Last weekend Charlie wanted to have breakfast and he picked out Joe’s Coffee Shop because there one of the few restaurants Charlie can get Cereal at.
My sister hadn’t been here in a long time so she decided to meet us for Breakfast. As she was walking out the door Lily and Jason decided to come with Debbie.
They hadn’t been to Joe’s Coffee Shop before so this was a nice treat for them. Debbie and Jason decided not to eat. Lily asked for a Chocolate Chip Pancake and Bacon off the children’s menu.
Even though she had eaten two or three donuts before arriving once Lily’s Pancake and Bacon arrived she jumped right in like she hadn’t eaten in a month.
Lily said the Pancake was so tasty and the Syrup was perfect. The Bacon was just Crisp enough and she can’t wait to order more. Charlie chose a plain Waffle which Charlie said was perfect and he can’t wait to order this again.
I ordered two Eggs cooked Over Meduium, Hash browns, Sausage with Toast & Gravy. My Eggs were cooked perfectly. The Hash Brown were browned but not burned and seasoned nicely.
My Sausage had a nice mild taste and it wasn’t hot. They cooked it perfectly and I can’t wait to get this the next time I do. The Gravy was Cream Gravy and perfect in every way.
The Toast was light and not to brown just the way I like my Toast. Even Jason had a couple slices of my toast which he liked a lot. I liked knowing there was Grape Jelly for the Toast.
David ordered the Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs and he said his breakfast was perfect. Although, he had a hard time choosing Grits, Biscuits & Gravy or Toast.
David ended up picking Gravy & Biscuits which he said were perfect and he can’t wait to order this again. David had Coffee with his breakfast and he liked it a lot just as I liked the Coffee and so did Charlie even though we had our own drinks.
Because I choose Sweet Tea just like Debbie while Lily chose Lemonade which she said was yummy. When we come back Charlie and I want to try Chocolate Milk.
