This is a review for JJ Suspenders who sent me Navy Tides and also
Chestnut Java in exchange for a review. The thoughts in this review are mine and my families. No, one else.
Men never seem to surprise me and this is very true with David and Charlie. A couple months ago we were getting ready to go out to dinner when David said I need a pair of Suspenders.
I must tell you hearing David would like a pair of suspenders took me back to my childhood. As a child sitting at my grandfathers bed because all he ever wore were suspenders.
I remembered how much I loved my grandfather and I knew immediately I wanted to get David and Charlie a pair of suspenders because it would be like having my grandfather her with me.
I knew the Lord was listening to us because a email came in from JJ Suspenders and they let me know they would like to have a spot in this years Christmas Guide. Due to a mix up I wasn’t able to get JJ Suspenders in the Guide.
Which was fine because it wasn’t the Lords will.Now, I’m back and ready to share JJ Suspenders with you. I would like to let you know when the suspenders arrived I wanted to keep them for Fathers Day but David needed the suspenders right away because his belt broke.
I received Navy Tides I opened the box and also the package up
Chestnut Java came in and I knew which pair I wanted to give David.
Although like all men do David messed up my plans because David chose Navy Tides which I had thought of giving Charlie. Although it was fine for David to mess up my plans because I knew Charlie would like either pair of suspenders.
I knew either pair of suspenders would fit Charlie and David and they would be able to share Navy Tides and Chestnut Java with each other allowing David and Charlie to have different suspenders to wear at different events.
The first pair of suspenders I would like to talk to you about is Navy Tides which are Classic Navy Suspenders. I chose Navy Tides because Charlie’s favorite color is blue.
I knew Navy Tides would look nice with black pants and dress shirts Charlie wears when we attend events. Charlie let me know he wanted to wear Navy Tides with his Jeans and his Cowboy hat. I can’t wait to see what Charlie looks like.
Charlie even surprised me on Monday morning when Charlie got dressed for school. Then Charlie asked if he would be able to wear Navy Tides which showed me Charlie liked them a lot.
I thought Charlie would have trouble putting Navy Tides on but Charlie didn’t and Charlie even showed me how he could get Navy Tides off and back on by himself.
I thought Navy Tides might be to big because they fit people between 5’2 and 6’2 but they weren’t which means I wouldn’t have to purchase 2 different sizes of suspenders.
Navy Tides are Timeless, versatile and make our men look dapper. Charlie, David and I liked knowing Navy Tides comes with a navy, cream, caramel and gold tone color palette.
Navy Tides color palette will go with any color of shirt they chose to wear. Not only polishing your every special-occasion get-up but look nice with casual clothes.

Charlie also wanted me to let you know if you want to be different and unusual you could even use Navy Tides with shorts and a shirt. What can I say other than Charlie likes to march to the beat of a different drum allowing Charlie to be different than everyone one else.
The second pair of suspenders I chose was Chestnut Java which is Brown Leather Suspenders. I knew David would like brown more than blue or even black,
As soon David saw Chestnut Java David let me know he would take
Chestnut Java. Charlie could have Navy Tides which was what I had planned when I picked the suspenders out.
David has to wear a uniform to work and its blue jeans and a grey shirt. I knew Chestnut Java suspenders would look classy with the uniform David has to wear.
Charlie and David let me know the chestnut-brown leather suspenders were there favorite pair. I need to purchase a second pair so Charlie has his own and they can dress alike for the pictures we will be taking.
Chestnut Java allowed Charlie and David to create a relaxed, look for casual or formal occasions. David let me know he liked the stitching and weathered hardware.
Charlie said he liked the soft elastic back strap Chestnut Java comes with because they didn’t hurt Charlie’s back and they increase comfort. My family loved Chestnut Java paired with black jeans and a white button down shirt.

JJ Suspenders was created with the goal of designing fresh, high quality suspenders within a not-so-innovative industry.
It started in 2014 when founders Jackson and Josh were shopping for suspenders to wear at a friend’s wedding and after visiting dozens of shops all they could find were a handful of generic, outdated and overpriced suspenders.
When looking for alternatives online, they quickly found that about 90% of the suspenders on the market were low quality and mass-produced by the same factory.
The only suspenders that met Jackson and Josh’s quality standards were from a very old company in England. But with this came high shipping costs, outdated designs, and poor customer service.
