January 24 Beer Can Appreciation Day #BeerCanAppreciationDay

The Mommies Reviews

I wanted to share a unique #Holiday with you this morning. January 24th is Beer Can Appreciation Day #BeerCanAppreciationDay. Now, you might be asking yourself why I would want to celebrate Beer ca Appreciation Day and its because it reminds me of my dad growing up.

My dad was always drinking a Coors then it went to Bush Beer because it was cheaper. As for David’s parents they used to drink as well as David’s brothers. Before you ask David has a Beer almost every night and a lot of times its a Beer I hadn’t seen or heard of.

Some of the cans David brings home or I’ve seen in Local Stores could be works of art. If I had room I would display the cans in a Man Cave for David but I would drill a hold in the bottom of the can and drain the Beer out incase Charlie’s friends took them they couldn’t get drunk. My question for you is what is the most unique Beer Can you’ve ever seen and why?

Then join us on January 24th, when we celebrate Beer Can Appreciation Day in remembrance of the historic, monumental, and thirst-quenching day Beer was first sold in cans. Now canned Beer just makes sense because Beer cans are easier to pack in a box or cooler.

Advanced thermodynamics and quantum physics tells us Beer cans are more efficient to pick up. But remember, fellow history buffs, it wasn’t always that way. If we don’t remember where we’re from, how will we know where we’re going? And wouldn’t we still be thirsty when we got there? Take a minute to think that one over while downing a cold Beer or two. Remember don’t drink and drive. Ever!

Beer Can Appreciation Day Activities

  1. It doesn’t matter to me where you purchase your Beer which can be a your Beer from today all that matter is we drink from cans on Beer Can Appreciation Day.
  2. When your ready, remove a single Beer can from it’s packaging, hold it up to the Sky and marvel at its majesty. Behold the labeling, the shape, the contours, and all those numbers stamped on the bottom isn’t that can one of a kind?
  3. Crack that bad boy open and enjoy the flavor that has been kept air tight and far from the light that robs your Beer of flavor and enjoy the wonders of canned Beer my friend. You have earned that reward.

Why We Love Beer Can Appreciation Day

  1. Did you know it takes less time to chill a can of Beer than a bottle of Beer? However, bottled Beer stays colder longer? But that’s what koozies are for.
  2. I have a question for you have you ever tried to stack Beer bottles? How did that work out for you? Beer cans are easier to stack on shelves in the grocery store, or in your fridge, or in the Garage, or any other place you might stack Beer cans.
  3. The advent of canned Beer allowed US brewers to ship millions of cans of Beer to Soldiers overseas during World War II. Now canned Beer can float a River, summit a Mountain, and shred the gnar, all while staying pressurized, delicious and ready when you are. Can a bottle do that?

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
