January 19th: National Popcorn Day #nationalpopcorn day

The Mommies Reviews

In our home the past week one of us or two of us and sometimes all three of us was sick. My house is upside down and blog work had come to a standstill. Somedays all I did was sleep which meant I slept through holidays and even though I hate to admit it I missed January 19th: National Popcorn Day #nationalpopcornday.

This sticks because it would have been the perfect day to go to the movies as a lot of Theaters was giving out free popcorn. Or we could have made Popcorn at home in David’s new Popcorn maker and watched movies together and played Board Games. Having Popcorn and spending time together as a family can happen at anytime and doesn’t have to be a special day.

Now that I’m beginning to feel human and so are Charlie and David. David will be home early this evening and he may not have to work tomorrow I think we will celebrate #nationalpopcornday. I just wish my mom was here because her and Suzzie loved Popcorn just as much as David and I do. If Cowtown Theater as the Icis in the Fort Worth Stockyards hadn’t closed this would have been the perfect place to pick up Popcorn for our movie night because this is where my mom would go as a child.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
