Good morning, how are you? Did you know January 15th was National Hat Day #nationalhatday. I know David will be excited to learn of it’s #nationalhatday because there isn’t a day that goes by that David doesn’t have some kind of hat on. Usually it’s a baseball hat. I used to have a collection of hats as well including baseball caps and cadet hats.
I wish I could find them all because they were special hats like my black hat with a cross Charlie bought me. Or my white hat with Owls David purchased for me in Oklahoma to go with my purse he bought me at one of the truck stops. With my hair thinning out making me look bald I can understand why David always wears a hat.
I thought I would share two hats the Red, White and Blue Hat with USA on it reminds me of Kid Rock and the white hat came from Cuba from one of David’s workers at the Airport. I have a question for you. Did you know Hats have been worn as uniforms, fashion accessories, and protective gear. And did you know that they date all the way back to before 3,300 BCE?
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
