As we move closer to Valentines Day we’ve been decorating our home. Being January 11th, 2024 #PictureoftheDay Challenge I thought I would ask you to share your Valentines Day Decorations with us if you have your home decorated. We’ve had our decorations up for a month and we rechanged and redecorated yeas
This is our front porch which we changed up yesterday allowing David to create a indoor garden area for me. Most of these decorations came from Hoby Lobby but the porch sign is from Dollar Tree.
The Heart sign and the sign with the truck came from the Dolar Tree and there hung up in our living room over our couch and one of the signs is from last year. On my coffee table David picked up the red heart tray that I hadn’t wanted for me and there is a white one I would like for the Dinning Room wall.
In the hallway leading to the dinning room and kitchen are cloth bags hanging on the wall. For Valentines I will be filling the bags with little treats for David and Charlie including Gift Cards for there favorite foods for lunch. You might remember last year the bags were hanging in our kitchen because we use decorations over and over again.
It wouldn’t be a Holiday without my cup towel collections which is from Hobby Lobby and the Dollar Tree.
The cup towel with cars on it and the Gnomes along with the Dog and our kitchen tablecloth which also have the cars on it came from Hobby Lobby. I was able to purchase it when there where on sale for 40% off. Also you can see our kitchen tablecloth David picked out because it has my Volkswagen ie Slug bug and Truck on it with David and Charlie’s Jeep.
All that is missing to complete our Valentines Day decorating is Garden Flags for the upstairs patio which may be in one of our totes from last year. Which we haven’t been able go through with the way David is working. When we went Walmart to purchase Garden Flags they didn’t have Valentines one out and Ollies and Hobby Lobby didn’t have any or Ace Hardware. Looks like I may be shopping online if we are going to put any out this year. If your like me and decorating on a budget Dollar Tree is the perfect place to start at.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
