Jane’s Worry Elephant: A Self-Help Guide for Kids With Anxiety

The Mommies Reviews

I’ve always loved Elephants. If I could I would want a Elephant for a pet. That can’t happen so I have the next best thing. A new children’s book written by Kelly Miller.

I was blessed when I received a copy of Kelly Millers book Jane’s Worry Elephant in exchange for a spot in this years Christmas Gift Guide Shopping for: Boys & Girls. Should I keep Jane’s Worry Elephant for Charlie.

Or should I give Jane’s Worry Elephant to my nephew Elijah or one of my nieces or nephews? Or to granny Sherry who could set up a library in her home for when the kids are visiting they would have books to read:

About:

“Jane’s Worry Elephant: A Self-Help Guide for Kids With Anxiety.” Kelly discovered her daughter’s experience with anxiety was a struggle for the whole family.

She used her training in positive psychology to move her daughter from fearful to flourishing and she wants to help other families who are struggling as well. And, since this year has been full of fear–it’s the perfect time to equip parents with these resiliency skills that they can pass down to their kids.

About the Author

Kelly Miller is a new author who was inspired by her own daughter’s journey with anxiety. Having a background in psychology helped, but she felt lost when trying to guide her daughter through her struggles in fifth grade.

Gaining knowledge in positive psychology through The Flourishing Center helped Mrs Miller find more than just strategies; it helped her find purpose. She now writes for practitioners in positive psychology and continues to help others through positive psychology coaching and workshops in the field with her business A Brighter Purpose, llc.
