This is a review for Jane Austen’s Table: Recipes Inspired by the Works of Jane Austen (Literary Cookbooks) which I received a copy of in exchange for this review.
I remember in school studying Jane Austen and how much I enjoyed learning about her. Which is why I was excited to have Charlie study her as well. Although, Charie wasn’t too keen on this Lesson Plan until I share my copy of Jane Austen’s Table: Recipes Inspired by the Works of Jane Austen with Charlie.
As we looked through the recipes and picked out what Charlie wanted to make in his Homeschool Cooking Class Chalie being to ask questions about Jane Austen leading to research and Art as Charlie drew what he found out for his Art Class.
I love knowing the book isn’t just full of recipes but stories bringing Jane Austen to life. The pictures kept Charlie on the edge of his seat. Charlie even shared the book with his Grandmother Sherry who plans on picking up a copy to add to her Cookbook collection.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a teacher or History Student everyone will love reading and creating the recipes inside Jane Austen’s Table: Recipes Inspired by the Works of Jane Austen I believe all Elementary’s, and High Schools should have a copy of this book in their library.
If you’re looking for a new unique movie to watch during Family Movie night you should find one on Jane Austen and then create some of the recipes in the book to serve during the Movie. Don’t forget to invite your family over to learn more about Jane Austen and the food she would have served to her guests.
