Hunchback of Notre Dame

The Mommies Reviews

Suzzane loved the story of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I wish Suzzie was here to attend a performance of the Hunchback of Notre Dame with me but we all know Suzzane isn’t.

In memory of Suzzie and the things she enjoyed it would be fun to attend a performance of the Hunchback of Notre Dame which we may not be able to do unless our finances get better.

Which could happen at any time because the LORD knows both our needs and wishes. If its the Lords will then Charlie, David and I will be attending the Artisan Theater and seeing the Hunchback of Notre Dame.

The musical begins as the bells of Notre Dame sound through the famed cathedral in fifteenth-century Paris. Quasimodo, the deformed bell-ringer who longs to be “Out There,” observes all of Paris reveling in the Feast of Fools.

Held captive by his devious caretaker, the archdeacon Dom Claude Frollo, he escapes for the day and joins the boisterous crowd, only to be treated cruelly by all but the beautiful gypsy, Esmeralda.

Quasimodo isn’t the only one captivated by her free spirit, though  –  the handsome Captain Phoebus and Frollo are equally enthralled. As the three vie for her attention, Frollo embarks on a mission to destroy the gypsies  –  and it’s up to Quasimodo to save them all.

This beautiful show runs from October 11th to November 9th with performances on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets are available at www.artisanct.com!
