#Sponsored I wanted to share another self-help book not only for TEENS but parenting as well called How To Deal With An Angry Teenager (Parenting) by Rebecca Flag and earlier I had shared with you and later I will have a review for Parenting Teenage Girls like the other books I received in exchange for this review. Inside this post is my affiliate links. If you click on the links and make a purchase I will make a small percentage off the items you purchase.
I don’t know if you have a TEEN or not and if you do if you get along all the time or not but in our home living with Charlie is like living with Dr. Jeckyl and Hyde. One moment he is sweet and is talking to me and wanting to do something with me and in just a flip of the switch Charlie is mean and hateful. Cussing me out and calling me all kinds of names. Pushing and hitting me.
There is more times than not that I want to throw in the towel and move but I love my son and ‘m sure it part of his changing body and no, that isn’t a excuse. Before you ask if he is this way with his dad most of the time no. Does David do anything about it sometimes yes but most of the time not enough to change it.
Which is why I was glad to receive a copy of How To Deal With An Angry Teenager which has helped me understand Charlie more thank the LORD. I like how the Author remind us that our children aren’t just being a…holes. I love how the Author has included illustrations in the book which helps keep our attention on what were reading.
I love how the author has included a chapter on “Warning My Teenager Is In Trouble’ which has helped Charlie and I understand his best friend B ie Bradley. There is also a chapter on “When Tecnology Helps Your Teen Become Rebellious” which I’ve witnessed first hand. Have you? If you have children I hope you take the time to read this book because it has helped me become a better parent and to understand my child and what he and his friends are going through.
