I was sent a copy of this Middle School book from Goop favorite Honest History Magazine: History Is Delicious, from FoodGPS.com founder Joshua Lurie in exchange for this review.
With Charlie Homeschooling full time again this year I am able to use the books we find that interests our family. As soon as I hard about History Is Delicious I couldn’t wait to check it out because this is our first year to Study History and I had been struggling on what to use to teach Charlie this new class.
When History Is Delicious arrived I went and sat down on the Couch to thumb through the book before I knew it I found myself reading the book and I couldn’t wait to share things I found inside the book with David and Charlie.
Not only will History Is Delicious work for our History Class, but Cooking as there is recipes inside celebrating different Countries including America and the Middle East.
Once we study each Country we can add more Lessons to our Studies and go on a Field Trip to a restaurant that serves that type of Food include the Middle East.
Charlie and I even planned on Studying States this year. By using this new book we will be able to further our Studies thanks to History Is Delicious. Along, with Art Class as we can draw pictures of the States and even look up the States on a Map or Globe which is our new purchase for our Classroom.
