#HomeschoolwithBoardGames: Trekking The World

The Mommies Reviews

This is a review for Trekking The World from Underdog Game which I was sent to review.

Trekking the World is a good game for family game night.

I love when I have a new addition for HomeschoolwithBoardGames: Trekking The World is the newest addition and as I looked at the box David walked up and said he is excited to play with Charlie and I because this isn’t a Game we have found in our stores.

Trekking the World board game is a great strategy game.

Tomorrow if the Weather clears up we will be taking a tip to Oklahoma City and Trekking The World came in just in time because we will arrive at his home before Gerald gets off from work.

David and I knew we would need to take school books for Charlie to do work while we waited for Gerald. But thank to Underdog Games I can bring Trekking The World with us in place of workbooks.

Lessons:

Get a good strategy game through Trekking the World.

Spelling:

Underdog Games, Trekking The World, Build, Bucket List, Destinations, Whirlwind Tour, Visit, Fellow, Travelers, Ultimate, Globetrotter, Racing , World-Renowned Locations, Souvenirs, illustrated, Educational Passages

Reading Class:

Set the Game Board up and read the instructions to the players. Then ask them questions so you can make sure they understood what you told them.

Then have them ask you questions about the rules so we know you understood what you read.

Math:

Count all the pieces in the Game then create math problems for someone in your family to work out.

Then have them create 5 math problems using the number you came up with for you to work out.

Creative Writing:

Pick one location from the Game and in your Journal write three reasons why you would want to visit here.

You must include at least one place you would like to visit and how its different from places you live.

Drama Class:

I want you to act out what happened in the Game in front of your parents and explain what your doing.

Music Class:

Create a Jingle about the Game that could be used in a Commercial and before you play the Game you must sing the Jingle to the players.

Cooking Class:

Look up one of the Cities in the game and the type of food served and create a Recipe with that dish for your family.

Remember Charlie hasn’t had the opportunity to play the Game but once we do I will be back with our thoughts. But with Summer here soon I wanted to share the Game with you so you can add it to your Summer Must Have List.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
