Come join Charlie and I this morning for our series #HomeschoolWithBoardGames: Monopoly Junior Board Game which is what Charlie wanted to play with our niece Payton this morning.
Reading Class: Set the Board Game up then ask everyone to sit down at the table. Read the instructions to the players. Ask the players questions to make sure they understand what is going to happen and why. Have the players ask you questions to make sure you understand what is going to happen.
Math Class:
Count the Game pieces and once you come up with the number of pieces create 5 math problems for someone in your home to work out. Then have them create 5 math problems for you to work out.
Art Class:
Pick one of the cards or tokens and create a piece of art around them and inside your Art journal write a description of what your drawing and why.
Drama Class:
Act out a scene that happened in the Game when you were playing and describe what what happened and why. Write the description inside the Drama Journal.
Music Class:
Create a Song/ Journal that could be used in a Commercial and after writing the song down in your Music Journal you will perform the song before you being playing the Game.
Cooking Class:
Create a Snack based on the Game that can be served while playing Monopoly Junior. Write the recipe down in your Cooking Journal.
Charlie says he is going to see if he can find out how to make Cookies in the shapes of the Tokens. Would you like to help us?
Thank you,
