Welcome to our #HomeschoolWithBoardGames: Improv Against Normality Card Game is what we’ve chosen as a family to play this week and I can’t wait until David is off for our #FamilyGameNight.
Improv Against Normality Card Game
Box of 500 cards, 5 decks of 100 cards each- Scenarios, Characters, Objects/Activities, Locations and Secret/Wants. 3 or more players, Ages 12 and up!
Choose a Director to set the Scene and other players will role play a card of their choice- bringing the who, the what, the where and/or the why to each scene. Create belly-busting laughter for minutes or hours with friends, family, co-workers!
Reading:
Set the game up and ask everyone who is going to play to take a seat at the table. Then read the instructions to them and ask them questions to make sure they understand what is going to happen. Then have them ask you questions to make sure you understand what you read to them.
Spelling Class:
Improv Against Normality, Ages, Times, Players, Why Be Normal, When You Can Be Extraordinary, Play Cards, Connect People. Laughter, Play, Scenario, Sprinkle In, The Who, The What, The Where, The Why, Presto, Family, Friends, Co-Workers, Team, Delight, Entertain, Live- Action, Real-Time
Math Class:
Count all the game pieces and create 5 math problems for someone in your home to work out. Then have them create 5 math problems for you to work out.
Art Class:
Draw a picture of a scene from the game you just played and add a description of what you drew and why.
Drama Class:
Act out a scene from the cards you read and explain what you chose to act out and why.
Music Class:
Create a Jingle/ Song that could be used for a commercial and sing the song before you begin playing the game.
Cooking Class:
Create a snack or a dish based on the Game that you can serve while playing the game.
