Nominated for the 2019 Spiel des Jahres — Don’t Let Llamas And Markers Accumulate! Try to get rid of all your cards so you don’t take any markers, but if you can’t you have a real dillama—should I pick another card or quit? Maybe you can play that card later, but if not you’ve just hurt your score. The player with the fewest markers wins in this game with the name that says it all: Don’t Let Llamas And Markers Accumulate!

Reading Class:

Set the Card Game up and ask the individuals waiting to play the Game to sit down. Read the instructions to the players. When you finish ask them questions to make sure they understand what is going to happen and why. Then let the players ask you questions to make sure you understand what is going to happen in the Game and why.

In your Reading Journal make notes of what happened in the Game. Include who played and who won the Game. Why do you think they won? Were they a good support or not? How about the losers were they a good support or not?

Spelling Class:

Count the Game pieces inside the Game once you come up with the answer. Create 5 Math problems for one of the players to work out. Let them use the number and create 5 math problems for you to work out. Write both sets of the Math problems inside your Math Journal.

Drama Class:

Act out a scene that happened in the Game and describe what your acting out and why. Write the description inside your Drama Journal.

Art Class:

Create a piece of Art based on what happened in the Game. Include a description of what happened inside your Art Journal.

Cooking Class:

Create a Snack based on the Game which can be served while playing the Game. Write the recipe inside your Cooking Journal which will be turned into a Cookbook at the end of the year.
