As Charlie graduates this week we need to get out and explore our City because he will be driving soon. As I was looking for fun and unique things to do in DFW I found out we can Ride a Vintage Street Car on McKinley Avenue in Dallas and all you have to do is look for a maroon sign labeled M-LINE Trolley.
M-LINE trolley cars run between the Dallas Museum of Art and Klyde Warren Park giving us ample opportunity to check out places we haven’t visited before. Would you like to join us for a ride or two or even three? The cars might look vintage, but they’re air-conditioned and heated for comfort year-round. You can check the trolley route here. Service Hours
The M-Line Trolley operates service 365 days a year with 3 cars running on most days:
Monday-Thursday: 7AM – 10PM
Friday: 7AM – 12AM (Midnight)
Saturday: 10AM – 12AM (Midnight)
Sunday: 10AM – 10PM
Holidays: 10AM – 10PM
Trolleys typically arrive at stops every 17-20 minutes. Riding the entire route takes approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic and weather conditions.
Trolleys may wait several minutes at Uptown Station to allow transfers from the underground rail station.

West Village: Enter/exit at any of five designated stops at the M-Line’s northern end. Service continues southbound.
