October is Blindness Awareness Month, it’s also the perfect opportunity to teach your students about how their eyes work, develop, and how to protect them

In our Vikings Unit, students will discover the mighty Scandinavian warriors.
October 15 – Global Handwashing Day
Not only children but adults can never be remined enough to wash there hands during this time of Covid-19 but handwashing should be done all the time. If children want to know why have them check out these lessons in the Germs Unit.
October 19 – World Pediatric Bone and Joint Day
it’s never too early to think about bone health! Our Bones Unit offers 8 Topics that demystify the Skeletal system.
October 28 – National Immigrants Day
Inside the United States are immigrants from every Country. So it’s time to learn more about them. I would recommend you check out highlight the beginning of this American experience: Ellis Island, Immigration, and the Statue of Liberty.
October 29 – Big Cat Day
Charlie loves White Tigers and inside Big Cats Unit we will learn about Lions, Tigers and Leopards.
October 31 – Halloween
