Sometimes our students get tired out of working out of workbooks all the time. So this week lets go on a Trip. Which we can do thanks to these Ancient Greece, France, and even the moon!
These events happened in July but you can still study them or hold onto the resources for next year. As for my family we plan on checking them out this week and adding them to next years Calendar as well so we can recheck them out next year.
July 8 – Vasco de Gama Begins first Voyage to India (1497) |

Come check out the French Revolution which is part of a Enlightenment Unit that discusses Europe’s spread of ideas during the 18th Century.
June 19 – Rosetta Stone Found (1799)
Rosetta Stone is one of the greatest ancient treasures ever discovered here learners can read more about her in the Buried Treasure Unit.
July 20 – Apollo 11 Landed on the Moon (1969) |
July 20th is also National Moon Day which is why you should study when Apollo landed on the Moon and explore even more about the Moob by checking out Moon Unit.
June 23 – The 2021 Olympics Begin in Tokyo |
Did you know the very first Olympics started in Ancient Greece in 776 BC to honor Zeus. Olympics are very different then what we have today, they served as a blueprint for sports. Come check out the lesson plans on Ancient Greece Unit giving learners a close look at this Ancient Culture.
