This journal is designed to help aspiring chefs, ages 10 to 17, to grow and master their skills in cooking.

The Chef’s Fun-Schooling Journal is for all students interested in culinary arts. Students will work through Cooking Challenges, try new recipes and be creative.

To complete this guided learning journal students need cookbooks, cooking supplies, right ingredients, a kitchen, a shopping budget, a store, and access to films and documentaries. This journal can be used daily for an intensive culinary unit lasting about three months or once a week to last all school year.

As a Core Curriculum Journal this book covers all required subjects in a very creative way!

This book uses the Open Dyslexic font, and other easy to read fonts, for easier reading for Dyslexic students.

Thinking Tree Learning Levels:

A1 = Pre Reader (Pre-K) ages 2-5

A2 = Beginning Readers (K-1st) ages 6-7

B1 = Early Elementary (2nd-3rd) ages 8-9

B2 = Upper Elementary (4th-6th) ages 10-11

C1 = Junior High (7th-8th) ages 12-14

C2 = High school + (9th-adult) ages 13+

Many Thinking Tree Journals span a wide variety of ages because the students use books at his/her reading level. For example, some journals may say for ages 7-17 because you customize it and meet the student where he’s at.

This comprehensive course will take you through six lessons and cover a wide range of topics including nutrition, food science, food source, life cycle of plants, interesting facts about each ingredient, step by step instructions and more.

Rise and Shine Course

Help your chef gain confidence in the kitchen while learning all about this popular fruit. The All About Apples course will take you through six lessons where apples are the star of the show. Lessons include a wide range of topics including nutrition, food science, food source, life cycle of plants, interesting facts about each ingredient, step by step instructions and more.

All About Apples Course

Your chef is never too young to learn how to make a delicious and nutritious dinner. This comprehensive course includes six recipes and an in-depth look at each of their ingredients. Your chef will learn about nutrition, food science, food origin, plant life cycle, cooking terminology, various cooking skills and so much more.

Delicious Dinners Course

Growing Thyme Cooking will help your chef make good snack choices with the Healthy Snacks course. This course takes a comprehensive look at nutrition, food origin, plant life cycle, food science, cooking terminology and more.

We join with experts of different skills/professions from all across the world to create the Campfire Curriculums™ units, for you.
