Devereaux Saw Mill: Virtual Tour of a Saw Mill
Grades 4 & up approximately, with parental supervision
This website offers an extensive virtual tour of the Devereaux Saw Mill in Pewamo, Michigan, where you can see how logs are turned into lumber.
When you get to the site, you will want to click on the Facility drop-down in the top menu. From there, first choose Virtual Tour. Read the information found on this page and then click the TAKE THE TOUR button. This tour will guide you through each section of the saw mill. There is quite a lot of information here.
When you are finished with the Virtual Tour, click on the Facility drop-down menu again and choose Videos. Here you will find three videos of different parts of the saw mill.

Scroll down the page and you’ll see the Contents of this virtual tour followed by descriptions and photos of the doughnut-making process. Discover the history of this Doughnut-making company and each step of the process from mixing and extruding the Dough to cooling the finished product.
