Homeschool Resources: Bowmen Homeschool PE

The Mommies Reviews

Through Middle School and High School PE is a core class for children graduating. I can play basketball or soccer with Charlie. But I don’t know all the rules and things to teach these games. Which is why I’ve been thinking of signing Charlie up for a Basketball Team or Martial Arts.

With schools starting back I wanted to share a Homeschool Resource: Bowmen Homeschool PE. I plan on checking out the classes and prices and see if there is anything Charlie would enjoy that I could afford. If you’ve used Bowmen Homeschool PE with your students what did you think of the classes and why.

PE 101 is a 90-minute class that allows students to explore multiple sports in a fun, learning environment. This program is designed for students to be ACTIVE while learning about athletics and team sports. Each class begins with a dynamic warm-up and stretch.

Next, we rotate through agility stations and drills. Units of study includes sport specific drills and games, including rules of the game, strategy and the fundamentals required to play. We also enjoy fun classic games like kickball, dodgeball, whiffleball, wallball and capture the flag.

A lot of the areas I looked into that were close to me only went up to age 12 but Roanoke PE 102 which takes place on Fridays from 10am till 11:30 am. Which is a time I could get Charlie to but the price of $156 is a little steep. But there is a drop-in rate of $14 per class which would be easier for your family.

In the event that in-person or indoor classes cannot be held. Every effort will be made to host the class at an alternate location. Classes may also be online if we are unable to meet.

Off 3/11 and 3/18 for Spring Break

Thank you,
