I little while ago we lost a true icon when Betty White passed away. Not, only did Charlie and I watch the Golden Girls together Suzzane and I did before she passed away and even my grandmother Dorie watched the show with me. The funny part is my Aunt Katherine, and I would call my grandmother Sophia and let me tell you my grandmother would get so mad at us.
It’s hard to believe the Golden Girls premiered on Sep 14, 1985. Suzzane passed away on November 28th, 2004. All the cast of Golden Girls is gone just like Suzzane. Which is why Charlie, and I will be studying all four of the ladies in our Homeschool Classes.
When I was Grocery Shopping the other day, I picked up these magazines People Betty White Turns 100! and People Magazine Betty White at 100! which Charlie can use in his Reading Class. Which of these magazines would you most want to read and why?
Then for Friday Free Time we plan on playing Monopoly: The Golden Girls Board Game and The Golden Girls Any Way You Slice It, Retro Trivia Card Game. Then we will create a college of Betty White’s life. Do you have anything you would like use to add to the picture.
Once the schoolwork is completed Charlie and I will have Movie Time. In Charlie’s Homeschool Cooking Class for Home Economics. Charlie will fix Betty White’s favorite snacks and we plan on Binge Watching Golden Girls and Annies Point. If we have time, I will have Charlie research more movies with Betty White for us to watch.
