Welcome and as I begin my day I thought I would share another Homeschool Resource Social Sciences at ClickSchooling! with you from ClickSchooling.  I am not sure how or what to teach Charlie in Social Studies getting these emails from ClickSchooling makes teaching Charlie easier.
Since I wasn’t sure if you were teaching Social Studies or not, I thought I would share this new Homeschool Resource from ClickSchooling with you. And if you have used it in the past what did you think of it? And would you use it in the future? Or is there something else you prefer using and if so what is it?

Take the Seven Hat Challenge and learn about the roles of the president of the United States by playing this game from Scholastic News.
Begin the game by entering your name and selecting “Start.” On-screen instructions provide the details of how to play and win the game. The premise of the game is that the player has been newly elected to the office and will travel through time to meet other Presidents to learn his role. By answering questions about that president and his positions, players earn that president’s hat. Earn all seven caps, and your presidential training is complete. Presidents include:
  • George Washington
  • Thomas Jefferson
  • Abraham Lincoln
  • Franklin Roosevelt
  • John F. Kennedy
  • George H.W. Bush
  • Barak Obama

This quick game provides an excellent reinforcement in your studies of government and the presidency.
