School is back in session for most students although Charlie has been in for a couple months. It’s official Charlie is in High School this year. Godwilling and things work out the way were PRAYING and BELIEVING Charlie will be graduating next year. In the meantime, I ewnted to share our latest Homeschool Resource: Duran Duran Lesson Plans.

Monday: Right your Spelling words 5 times each in ABC order.
Tuesday: use the Spelling words in a sentence or create a story using the spelling words:
Wednesday: Write the spelling words in your Spelling Journal and include a definiton for each word or a fact about any peorson.
Thursday: Take a Pre-Test of the Spelling words. Write any word you miss 5 times.
Friday: If you missed words in your Spelling Test re-take the test. If you make a Hundred enjoy the day chilling out,
Reading:
In our reading class Charlie will be reading the magazine about. Along with the Pleasure Groove: Love, Death, and Duran Duran which we found on Amazon.
Check out Amazon a book for your children to read about Duran Duran. Or go on a Field Trip to your local bookstore or Library and check out a book on Duran Duran.
Read at least 2 chapters of the book you choose each day. Then write two facts you learned in your Reading journal each day.
Math Class:
- How many albums did they make? 2. How any awards did they win? 3. How long did they play Music? 4. How many States did they visit and how many times?
Use the answers to the questions above and create 5 math problems for someone in your home to work out. Then let them create 5 math problems for you to work out. Write the answers in your Math Journal.
Drama Class? Watch a video or movie about Duran Duran. Share what you learned in front of your parents. Write a description of what you will be sharing inside your Drama Journal. Take a Field Trip to a Vintage Clothing Store and pick out a outfit Duran Duran would wear and wear it during your presentation.
Music Class:
Listen to music by Duran Duran and learn a song to perform for your parents on Friday during Movie Time. Write the song inside your Music Journal.
For a Field Trip this week visit a Recor store and check out any merchandise or records they have on Duran Duran.
Art Class:
Create a piece of art or a college using facts you found about Duran Duran using different art supplies. Write a description of what you drew in your Art Journal.
Cooking Class:
Look up what Duran Duran liked to eat. Prepare the recipe for your Family as part of your Homeschool Cooking Class. Write the recipe inside your Cooking Journal. If you can\t find out what Duran Duran liked to eat look up their Hometown and what food the Town is famous for and prepare that for your parents.
