I am so excited that I found this Homeschool Resource FREE Robots & Robot Building, class as Charlie loves building Robots and it will allow him to do something on his own without me having to help him.
This way I can work on the Blog or just rest. Which I never see to be able to do. So hurry Wednesday so Charlie can join this Join this free FREE Robots & Robot Building, class.
Join me on Wed for a FREE Robots & Robot Building, class
Your kids will learn about Electricity, Magnetism, gears, pulleys, motors and LOTS more.
Plus, during the class, your kids will do hands-on experiments including building a robot!
You can register here for free
If you want your kids to understand how robots work and why they are such an essential part of our future, you’ll want to share this class with your kids.
This free class will:
* Teach your kids about robots and automation:
– What a robot is and what used for in real life
– How robots work using electricity, motors, gears, pulleys, wheels, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
– How school robotics teams are now run like sports teams, but for kids who like science (plus learn real-world hands-on STEM skills). And, you don’t need to attend a school to be in their after-school robotics program (It’s where all the Brainiacs hang out).
* I’ll guide your kids through building a working robot and give them plans for several more.
* Help kids understand how engineers use math and physics to design robots that do everything from building cars to landing on mars.
* How new robots will help do everything from finding cures for diseases to fighting fires to serving burgers at McDonalds .
* And, of course, we’ll talk about the robotic self-driving cars that have been talked about so much recently.

Kids learn lots of academic skills like math, science, geography, etc. But often they wonder what they will really use this knowledge.
Well, robotics is a place where these skills REALLY count AND that kids are really excited to learn about.
Building a robot applies abstract things like physics to the mechanics of making a robot move. Things like gears and how to make wheels go, how levers work so that you can get a mechanical hand to hold something (even if it’s made from old toothbrushes, like the one I’ll show you how to build).
Plus, robots include electricity and computer programming, which of course are such valuable skills to have these days.
If your kids are into robots (like LOTS of kids are these days), you’ll be amazed how they’ll devote their time and energy to learning all these things and putting them together.
For example, I know a local robotics club that kids put 25-30 hours per week into by choice – almost all of it learning skills that professional engineers use every day. And these kids would instead do this than anything else. BTW, there are thousands of these clubs worldwide (probably one near you).
BTW, even if you don’t know a thing about science, it’s no problem. Just join me on Wednesday and I’ll handle everything.
I’m looking forward to talking to you during this free online class.
Talk soon,
Aurora
