I had hoped I would never have to say I knew someone who was “BULLIED.,” but the truth is I would need to say “YES” as both of my children have bullied. This week I am reading Homeschool Bullies Dealing with Mean Kids, Cliques, and Mama Drama.
With my children bullied it leads me to not only Homeschooling Charlie but also Suzzane when she was in Jr High. I would like to let you know Suzzane was “Bullied” by the staff of the Jr. High school she attended. If you would like to know more about this Please just ask me as I love sharing Suzzanes story.
Now for Charlie, he was also Bullied in school, but it was by other students, and Charlies teachers say they didn’t see it happening. Because they didn’t see it happen it almost caused Charlie to kill himself and mind you Charlie is only “8” years old.
Please remember “BULLYING” can happen to anyone at any age and it isn’t just kids it can also happen to animals. As I see the children in our neighborhood being mean to the stray cats as well as Birds which breaks my heart.
Sometimes I find myself as a “Parent” turning into a “Bully” with Charlie. I hope I can stop that from happening again. I wish I could say David wasn’t this way with Charlie but at times he is as well which isn’t healthy. Being this way is teaching Charlie its okay to treat his own family like that.
I would like to share another class with you from the 2016 Digital Homeschool Convetion, and it is “Homeschool Bullies” Dealing with Mean Kids, Cliques, and Mama Drama. All I can say is “man oh man” I took Charlie out of school to get rid of this and now I have to deal with it in Homeschooling as well. “Life Isn’t Fair”!!

The Book
Be watching for my Book Review as I was allowed to review The Unplanned Homeschooler book called Homeschool Bullies Dealing with Mean Kids Cliques and Mama Drama eBook.
Far too many families are suffering the effects of bullies within the homeschool community, and it’s a subject no one has written about extensively, until now. Why did I choose to write a book about homeschool bullies? Because they exist and bullies are everywhere, in the workplace, in your church, in public schools and yes, even in homeschools. It does us no good to deny that they are out there. People are hurting, and bullies need stopped. But perhaps more importantly, homeschoolers of all ages need to learn how to recognize bullying behavior in themselves. This book not only gives homeschoolers helpful advice on how to deal with the bullies they are likely to meet, but it helps them to hold a mirror up to their behavior and that of their children, to see if there are ways that they can treat others with more kindness. I believe that ‘Homeschool Bullies: Dealing with Mean Kids, Cliques and Mama Drama’ is an important book, which may help many homeschoolers to get along better and to treat one another with respect. I hope that each reader uses the book to make positive changes, in themselves, their families and their homeschool community.
