Homeschool Blogger Shoutout Middle Way Mom

Good morning, How are you? How is your week going so far? How are classes going if your homeschooling your students? As for mine and Charlie’s classes not so well. Charlie doesn’t want to go to bed at night and then sleep during classes. He expects me to write all the answers done for him and when I try and help he gets angry.  I have come to the conclusion that until he takes school seriously I am done. If he has to repeat the 4th grade that is his fault and it might teach him that he isn’t the teacher and needs to listen to an adult.

I continue to look for lessons and resources to use in our classroom if Charlie even changes his mind and decided to go to school. I thought I would share this week’s Homeschool Blogger with you. I visited  Middle Way Mom and I love her site and as I looked around I knew it would be the perfect blog to share with you and your students. As well as Charlie if he shapes up.

This morning I would like to invite you to check out her post for Screen Time Sanity with TV Tickets. I like that these cover movies and DVD’s as they are items we use in our household but I am going to expand my tickets to include time on the Play Station and I will include not only the time he spends at our home but also his friend’s homes. Because I know when he goes to there house that this is all they do. All I need to do is make sure the parents will support me and go along with the limits I set. If not then Charlie may not be going back to those friends homes.

I hope you enjoyed our newest Homeschool Blogger Shoutout and if there is someone you would like to see featured please leave me a comment and I will reach out to them to add them to our calendar. In the meantime, I wish you a Blessed week and I am so happy you took the time to stop by. I wish you and your friends and family a blessed week. If you wouldn’t mind please pray for mine as we work to find a solution to Homeschooling Charlie. Because at the moment I am ready to run from this house screaming and before you say anything I know that isn’t the answer.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
