The Mommies Reviews

HIGH STRUNG opens in Cinemas April 8th! See the music. Hear the dance.

I would like to let you know this is a Sponsored Post for elementassociates.com

I’ve always loved “MOVIES” that contain dancing and music. and I have tried to get my children to like these movies as much as I did.  I was able to do that with Suzzane.

Like me Suzzane loved Grease and Dirty Dancing was her all-time favorite movie. Who could blame Suzzane as it starred Patrick Swazi. Not only could he dance he was and is drop dead sexy.

I would like to let you know HIGH STRUNG opens in Cinemas April 8th!

With Suzzane gone I tried to get Charlie interested in the movies I like. I succeeded with Grease and Top Gun. Which Charlie would watch Top Gun all day every day.

When I showed Charlie the commercial for High Strung he surprised me and said he would sit and watch High Strung with me. I can’t wait to go to the movies and see if he does watch it.

Charlie will like it a lot if its like Stepping Up or Save the Last Dance. I told Charlie I wasn’t sure about. But we could grab our blankets and pillows and cuddle on the couch and watch the movie on our laptop. Charlie agreed with me which totally surprised me.

I thought Charlie would get bored once High Strung began but with all the different kinds of dance moves Charlie didn’t. Charlie even tried to follow along with them.

Charlie and I enjoyed the music as well. Charlie even asked if we could go and see High Strung once it arrives at our local theaters. I almost feel in the floor.

What surprised me was David heard us watching High Strung. David came and joined us on the couch and watched the whole movie. David didn’t move until High Strung was over. Then David also asked if we would be able to go and see High Strung  at the Theaters because we missed parts of the movie.

I’m like Charlie and David I want to watch High Strung again because I liked the Music and  dancing. If Suzzane were here she would have as well. I loved the story line and High Strung has become my  favorite movies. I can’t wait to purchase High Strung.  I know this will be a movie I will watch over and over.

About High Strung:
In a city where only the best succeed, two radically talented people from opposite sides of the tracks need to find harmony to achieve their dreams.

RUBY ADAMS is a dancer from the Midwest on scholarship, living her first day in New York City.

JOHNNIE BLACKWELL is a British musician, playing for money in the subway tunnels.

Ruby’s world is classical and disciplined; Johnnie’s is improvisational and street smart. When a hip-hop battle gone wrong throws these two artists together, they immediately clash but can’t deny when sparks begin to fly.

Their lives quickly get entangled in the pitfalls that come with competing in New York City. With the help of a dynamic dance crew called The SwitchSteps, Ruby and Johnnie must find a way to save Ruby’s scholarship and keep Johnnie from being deported.

In an action-packed extravaganza combining cutting edge hip-hop with contemporary and classical dance, the two must navigate their opposing worlds and prepare for a competition where winning or losing will change their lives forever.

No I would like to ask you to go and see High Strung. If you do Please back by and let me know what you think of the story line. Letet me know if its a movie you would purchase or not.

If your Homeschooling is there anything you can share from the movie in your classroom? Charlie and I will be looking up  the dance moves and music they played.

Looking up a Violin as Charlie has so many questions about this instrument. Learning about the Violin will make a music lesson for music class. Then Charlie can draw the dances the dancers did for Art.

If you would like to find out which Theaters High Strung will be in you can check out there website at HighStrungTheMovie.com

I will be requesting High Strung to come to both of my favorite theaters. I hope you take the time to do the same thing. I think High Strung should be a movie everyone should see at least once. I hope you agree with me.

Take a look at the cast as I was surprised to see Jane Seymour in High Strung. Knowing she is one of the Actresses made me want to see high Strung even more.

Then there is a Ian Eastwood which makes me wonder if he is part of Clint Eastwood family. Something I need to research because  I love Clint Eastwood.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
