Her One in a Million

Adult Book Recomendations The Mommies Reviews

I once again was part of a tour from JustRead Tours and I received a copy of Her One in a Million by Rachelle Paige Campbell in exchange for this review.

Before I share my thoughts for this review with you, I would like to let you know Her One in a Million is (Home to Harmony Book 3). Before you ask no, I haven’t read the other books, but I would like to. Not, only that I can’t wait to see what other books Rachelle Paige Campbell has written to read and share with my friends and family,

can be described as a Historical Mystery with romance as the sideline. I loved the family aspect of a dad raising his daughter on his own. I love learning about remodeling and watching remodeling shows so this novel had me intrigued from the first page. Causing an itch to visit Antique Stores to look for vases like she discovered.

Even though this book is part of a series it can be read as a standalone and would make a wonderful tv movie. Especially on Halmark Drama and Mysteries Channel. If you and your girlfriends are looking to start a book club, you must add this book to your must-read list. If only I knew how to contact Opah to get it on her list as well.

Check out books 1 Home to Harmony, book 2 Just Shy of Harmony and three Christmas In Harmony here and let’s hope for a 4th, 5th and 6th book.

About:

While renovating the MacKinnon mansion, Samantha Holt discovers three prized ceramics in a wall. The one in a million find could provide much needed funds for the restoration—and her family’s struggling auction business. She calls a Chicago expert for a second opinion.

Zachary Reynolds arrives with his five-year-old daughter in tow, intending to leave with the vases immediately. Partly because the pottery won’t reach its six-figure potential in a small-town sale, but mostly because the ceramics will secure his job in an impending merger with a larger firm—and he needs that guaranteed stability for his daughter.

Sam and Zach both need the pottery for very personal reasons, but only one can emerge victorious. As they research the history of the pieces and the mansion, however, the best choice isn’t clear-cut. Add in romantic feelings neither of them expected and things become even more complicated. With the odds stacked against them, can they both achieve the financial and personal success they crave?

Rachelle stumbled into the world of romance novels in college; as a way to help speed up her reading to make it through Art History textbooks. After years in the professional world writing very dry grant proposals and auction descriptions, she started writing the contemporary romance stories she wanted to read. Setting her books in some of her favorite destinations was her inspired way to require plenty of research trips every year with her family.
