I found a Valentines book this morning when picking up our classroom and straightening up our library. The new children’s book is called Hearts Are Everywhere by Illustrated by Wednesday Kirwan (Author), Wednesday Kirwan (Illustrator) by Chronicle Books.

This is a different kind of children’s book than Charlie and I usually read because on the cover it reminds us to play the gamer. turn the wheel and lift the flaps. Once you get through looking at the pretty red cover with the two hearts and the mice. One of them is holding a card or cookie that says Luv which we all should do.

I opened the book up to read the story and I am asked to find the heart. Then to turn the wheel to choose a heart. Then were to guess where the heart might be. Which would keep children entertained for house and keep there hands busy and out of mischief. Each hear will end up with a heart allowing your family to choose there favorite.

Next was red roses which Charlie liked learning was my mom’s favorite flowers. Turn the wheel and open the flower and there will be hearts inside them. Next were two pink clouds and a beautiful pink Butterfly that reminded me of Suzzane. I wish I could have brought it home to keep as a new pet for Charlie and I. The clouds were my favorite page.

Next up is a Tea party Charlie and I wish we could have attended with the animals. Now we get to guess which Cookie or Cake. Which worked perfectly for Charlie and I because I prefer Cakes and Charlie likes Cookies more. Look there are gifts and balloons I didn’t even want to turn the wheels because I wanted to keep the pink/ purple heart balloon.

Can you guess what is next? Well I am not going to tell you because I think you should pick up your own copy of Hearts Are Everywhere to share with every child you know. Don’t forget the adults who may like the illustrations and want to spin the wheel just as Charlie and David did when we read the book.

I would like to let you know Heart Are Everywhere is the first book in this series. You should check our Eggs Are Everywhere a perfect Easter book and would fit into any Easter Baskets you will be putting together. Along with Halloween! Treat Hide and Seek which I can’t wait to get to give Charlie and my niece and nephew for Halloween.
