The Tear of Tybaleth tells the story of a beautiful heroine’s fight against a wicked queen’s vile powers that threaten to crush her and the brutalized people of her Country. Banished from home in a snowstorm by her father, Briar takes refuge in a wilderness cave where healing spirits restore her. Gaining strength, she refines warrior skills first learned with Vance, her childhood friend who is missing.
The fight scenes between Briar and her enemies keeps us on the edge of our seat and the disguises are amazing, the descriptions of setting and sensory detail are among the rewards of The Tear of Tybaleth and it’s fine adventure. I would like to let you know you shouldn’t be surprised to find out the Author throws in romance to keep which most of us like to find in the books we read. I enjoyed the suspense and drama that made me stop at times and just ponder what the Author had written.
About the book:
A Fiery Heroine, A Ruthless Queen, A Dark and Deadly Magic …
Lonely and trapped in her father’s loveless house, Briar longs to flee as far away as she can with Vance,
Who taught her swordplay,
Who left her breathless,
Who vanished without a trace.
But the sorceress queen of Purpura plots to sell her off to the highest bidder. When Briar thwarts the plan, she’s cast to a fate from which she may never survive.
She’d better.
Or thousands of her countrymen will die …
