Legend has it that Verdun Manor is haunted. You know what they say… a house cannot be haunted unless it has a history… and this haunted house definitely has a history!
In 1901, Baron Michael Verdun, a psychopathic werewolf, built a grotesque house on Voodoo Bayou. Deep within the recesses of his manor, he conducted cruel experiments on travelers, turning them into human-animal hybrids. Together with his vampire wife Lady Cassandra, he hosted fiendish masquerades, serving human flesh to his inhuman guests. Finally, one stormy night, an angry vigilante mob set the manor afire and murdered Verdun and Cassandra.
Verdun’s dying words swore vengeance upon all who dare enter his realm. Haunted Verdun Manor has stood silent for these many years, but folks still whisper about Verdun’s final curse. It is said Baron Verdun and his creatures still haunt the rotted mansion and overgrown cemetery. Those brave enough to enter Verdun Manor must dare both Voodoo Bayou and the old graveyard before reaching the manor itself.
Cassandra’s House of Clowns
Lady Cassandra has been hounding the clowns to pick up their mess at the Labyrinth and tidy up the place. They finally did. In the process they started tearing down walls and uncovered a ghastly sight: a giant, swollen brain hooked up to some diabolical apparatus. For 49 seasons Reindeer Manor has haunted the community of Red Oak, TX. From its humble beginnings as a multi-day haunted house put on by the Rotary Club, to the decades that followed as a month long innovative haunted house by The Boy Scouts of America Troop 1, and then to its 18 year evolution of becoming an award winning Halloween Park featuring 4 haunted houses, stage shows, games and more.
Ahead of its time, the creative team behind Reindeer Manor made their own fog machines, lighting, animatronics, controllers and special effects that hadn’t yet been available to consumers. It once operated a mile plus long hayride to transport you to that creepy house in the woods that stretched the boundaries of the imagination with underground tunnels, hollowed out graveyards and pyrotechnics to enhance the theatrical production.
Famous for its intimidating 112 year old structure built entirely of brick and steel, it contains the rich history of the ill fated Sharp Family and their well documented paranormal activity that’s become the stuff of legend
These halls are filled with generations of screams, family traditions and memories with friends. Everyone has a story to tell of their favorite scare at Reindeer Manor.
Though this is the Last Year Of Fear Here, it is not the end. Reindeer Manor will continue in a new location but until then look for the fireball in the sky and come experience the Halloween fun one final time, before this place too, is just a ghost.

We have a haunted house maze and every season we do something different. Do not expect the same thing. We have the most intense scares in every situation. Actors are not allowed to touch you. Our haunted house maze is completely inside. Tickets will be limited and timed. So get your ticket soon. Once we sell out you will not be able to purchase one. This should also be better for wait times to get in. Tickets give you a time slot to get in the line. Your wait could be up to 45mins to an hour depending on the day.
Our Haunt will be open Friday September 23rd through October 31st.

There are a lot of restaurants around to eat before or after the haunt.
The daunting self-guided journey of over 1 mile takes attendees through the woods and weeds along the shore of Lewisville Lake. The average time it takes for a group to complete the nighttime trail is 40 to 45 minutes. Along the way, hikers will encounter creepy characters, ominous signs and other frights. A PG-rated version of the attraction is offered for groups with young visitors.
