Join us at the Haltom City Library for Night of Romance. Through Night of Romance, we will be able to meet Romance Authors up close and to talk to them. Before you ask me if Night of Romance is a lot of fun, I would like to let you know I haven’t had the chance to attend Night of Romance.
I hope I am able to attend Haltom City Library for Night of Romance this year because I would like to find new Authors to interview and to have host Guest Post on here so we can all get to know them better. As well as help us find new books to read because I am tired of the books I have been reading.
The Haltom City Library will host the third annual Night of Romance on Friday, February 10, 2017, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Indulge in strawberries and a fountain of chocolate, bubbly drinks, while mingling with local romance authors. Don’t be shy, get their autographs, ask them how they write and how they get published. Bring your camera to capture romantic and funny pictures. Characters will come to life when four authors read from one of their writings.
The Authors include:
My love for romantic suspense inspires me to write alpha males and kick-ass women. My characters weave their way through death and danger to emerge stronger, because of, and on occasion, in spite of, their love for each other. If they’re desperate enough, they live happily-ever-after.
I live in Texas with my rescue dog, Buddy. My beautiful daughter and her husband gifted us with the smartest, greatest granddaughter on earth. Really! I wouldn’t kid you about that.

Three career paths resonated for Kym during her early childhood: a detective, an investigative reporter, and… a Nun. Being a Nun, however, dropped by the wayside when she became aware of boys—they were the spice of life she couldn’t deny. In high school her path was forged when she took her first job at a dry cleaner and met every cop in town, especially the lone female police officer in patrol. From that point on there was no stopping Kym’s pursuit of a career in law enforcement—even if she had to duct tape rolls of coins to her waist to meet the weight requirements to be hired. (Yes, she really did that!) Kym followed her dream and became a detective that fulfilled her desire to be an investigative reporter, with one extra perk—a badge. Promoted to sergeant Kym spent the majority of her career in SVU. She retired from the job reluctantly when her husband drug her kicking and screaming to another State but writing continued to call her name. Susan Sheehey

I love to write!
I’ve been reading fiction for years and finally decided that the images and scenes floating around in my head needed to make it to paper.
I’m a huge fan of romance, highly optimistic, and wildly faithful to the HEA (happily ever after). I’m inspired by most anything around me. And my biggest obstacle is not having enough time to get it all down on paper (or my computer, as the case may be).
My goal is creating a fantasy you will enjoy with characters you could love.
I live in Texas with my attentive, loving, super-model husband, and my perfectly behaved, brilliant children. My produce never wilts, there are no weeds in my flowerbeds, and chocolate is my favorite food group.
And then I wake up.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
