Charlie and I use movies in our Homeschool for Music and also as part of his Drama Class. Cookbooks are also used in our Homeschool Cooking Class. having the cookbooks saves us time when we can use the cookbook in more than one class. Which is what Charlie and I will be doing with The Horror Movie Night Cookbook. Charlie will be using Cooking Class, Drama Class and Reading, Math and yes even Music Class.
I do not watch scary movies or go into Haunted Houses Charlie and David do. When we are grocery shopping Charlie and I will pick up a couple Horror movies based on the cookbook Charlie and David will prepare the recipes to serve during movie night. Were I will be in the corner reading my book. Otherwise I wouldn’t ever sleep.
The first movie Charlie choose to watch is Psycho and Charlie will be preparing The Mama’s Boy Martini (Psycho). I asked Charlie why he picked out this recipe and he said because him and his dad are momma’s boys. This means I will have to watch the movie with him. Which isn’t going to happen. Would you like to take my place for movie night?
When we go grocery shopping I will purchase a Steak for Charlie to create The Mama’s Boy Martini (Psycho) a movie Charlie hasn’t had the opportunity to watch. My sister Debbie said she would like to watch with Charlie. Charlie can prepare dinner for his Aunt and they can spend one on one time together.
I enjoyed learning The Horror Movie Night Cookbook shares quotes and facts about the movie which we can use in our Language Arts Class. In Art Class Charlie can draw scenes from the movies. The quotes Charlie and David can try and figure out which movies they come from. Even though I am the queen of movies if you asked Charlie and David I can not help them with these quotes. Can you?
