I have always purchased books to give on Holiday’s as most Holiday’s are associated with candy. Before you roll me over the coals. Don’t get me wrong there isn’t anything wrong with candy I just didn’t like for my children to get to much candy as we all know it isn’t good for them.
I made a decision when Suzzane was born I decided everyone else could give her candy and I would get her a book for each Holidays. Because the books would last forever and when the candy was gone she would still have her book. As I was hoping it would prompt Suzzane to read.
When Charlie came along and I let David know I wanted to do the same thing with Charlie. So David purchases the candy and I buy the books. Then when Les had her baby David decided purchasing a book for him is the perfect gift as he can sign them and the baby will always have gifts from his grandfather. Just like Charlie does from Granny Sherry.
Here is a fun tidbit about David’s favorite movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory that you might not know My Golden Ticket is about about Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory. Once David sees Charlie’s copy I know he will want one for Les new baby so he can share his favorite movie with him.
Here is a tad bit about My Golden Ticket and once you’re done reading the preview come back and let me know what you think of My Golden Ticket:
We make personalised books that spark boundless self-belief. We have just launched My Golden Ticket, a book fresh from Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory!
My Golden Ticket is a personalised adventure that finally opens Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory to any child on Earth. This isn’t just a version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with a child’s name slapped inside. Instead, every name gets a different story, including their own unique candy, Oompa Loompa song and Wonkafied family tree. No two adventures are the same.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
