10th Annual Mommies Review Holiday Gift Guide

Before you ask me what is “Computers for Seniors“, I would like to let you know Computers For Seniors is a book.  I just wish Computers For Seniors had been out when my mom was still alive as she had always wanted to learn how to use the computer  I could send her pictures of Charlie. and she would have been able to download them.

My mom never learned how to use the computer though as she was in Oklahoma and I am in Texas and there wasn’t anyone up there to teach my mom. Although I did try and get her to take some computer classes but she didn’t think she would understand what they was teaching her. Although, if truth be none I think it is because she was afraid she couldn’t see the key board as my mom was almost blind when she passed away.

Since I was sent a email asking me if I would like to review Computers for Seniors I let them know I would like to receive a copy of Computers for Seniors. As I wanted to read Computers for Seniors and see if there were items inside it I didn’t know that I could use on the blog. Or share Computers for Seniors with David as he needs to learn the computer as well for work. Plus, if  truth be none we are Seniors. Although, that is a secret so Please don’t tell anyone.

I sat down to read Computers For Seniors I liked knowing there are 14 chapters and they cover Email which I do know, Internet which gives me grief at times so I couldn’t wait to read this chapter. Photos which I know I need to get better as because at times my photos end up sideways and I have no, clue how to get them right side up in my post.

I love how easy Computers For Science is to read and that it flows and I didn’t end up bored and walking away from Computers For Science. Like a lot of computer/ tech books I have purchased in the past. As I read Computers For Science book I totally understood the things it was teaching us and I can see myself doing a lot of these lessons in the Future as it will help me become more proficient at blogging.

I even think Charlie could read Computers For Science and understand the things it teaches him and I could see him learning more about computers and becoming a big help to me on the blog. Once I finish reading and learning all I can through Computers For Senors I can’t wait to share it with my mother in law as she also struggles with the computer and with this book she will be able to do the things she needs to on her own. It will allow her to become more confident and stop her from depending on others to help her with simple task such as emails for David Sr business.

I would like to let you know Computers for Seniors was created by No Starch Press, an independent tech book publisher based out of San Francisco. Before you ask me if I had heard of No Starch Press before I received Computers For Seniors the answer is no, I hadn’t although I can’t wait to see what other books they carry.
