Gravitas Ventures Presents Fallen

The Mommies Reviews

Most of us may never come into contact with policemen of firefighters and think about what they go through each day. Although, since Suzzane was killed I think about it each day. As they worked hard to save her life.

As soon as I receive this Press Release and before I was even half way through reading it I had chill bumps thinking about these officers families. Especially with my “Son in Law being in the Service.”

Because in the blink of an eye anyone can lose there life just like Suzzane. But policeman, firefighters and Soldiers have a better chance of it happening to them. So in this world we live in with all the bad things happening Please take the time to watch this movie and share it with everyone you know.

Then take the time to thank a “POLICE OFFICER, FIRE FIGHTER, or SOLIDER” because when they walk out that door there families may never see them again.

MICHAEL CHIKLIS Narrated Documentary Fallen                                     SHINING A SPOTLIGHT TO SHINE ON FALLEN POLICE OFFICERS SET FOR HOME VIDEO RELEASE NOVEMBER 14

Fallen deserves to be seen by anyone with a beating heart.”

– Sean Patrick, SERVE

Fallen…. strongly reminds us of the humanity behind the institution. No matter who we are or what we think of ‘the police,’ we are unwittingly speaking of fathers, mothers, children, husbands and wives, many of whom have faced death or will die serving and protecting us.”

-Russell Berger, Crossfit Journal

November 7, 2017 (Los Angeles) – Gravitas Ventures has announced the DVD and Blu-Ray release of FALLEN, masterfully narrated by Golden Globe® and Emmy® winning actor Michael Chiklis (“The Shield”). The timely documentary won the Audience Award for “Best Feature Film” at the Phoenix Film Festival and a special mention “Award of Excellent” at Impact Docs, and brings fallen police officers and the constant battle law enforcement faces with media to maintain their reputations to the forefront.

In the United States, a Police Officer is killed in the line of duty every 53 hours. Behind these numbers are countless unsung stories of both heartbreak and triumph overshadowed by negative headlines and criticism at every turn. Pulling back the curtain on this polarizing topic, Fallen rises above divisive politics to expose the humanity behind these statistics with an unflinching look at the constant threats officers face and the devastation left behind when one of them is senselessly killed. Giving these fallen heroes a voice, Fallen tells their stories through the eyes of the partners, families and communities left behind.

Director/Producer/Writer Thomas Marchese conceived of the film when he himself was a police Detective; his life was put in jeopardy in makingFallen. “I really wanted to pull back the curtain and give the viewer a raw look at what it is to be an officer on the street,” he said. “I want to give people a look past the badge and the uniform and have them really see what’s at stake when a cop walks out the door, and bring light to the devastation that’s left when an officer is killed.”

Marchese served as Director, Writer, Producer and Cinematographer of Fallen, his feature-length debut. Emmy® nominee Brenda Strong (“Desperate Housewives,” “Supergirl”) is also a Producer with John Farmanesh-Bocca.
