I am so excited this morning for several reasons including today is my Birthday. While I was working yesterday I went out on a limb. I emailed a event in Grapevine I thought my family would enjoy. The event will allow us to “WALK THROUGH HISTORY AT GRAPEVINE 11TH ANNUAL CANDLELIGHT TOUR OF HOMES“. I am excited to let you know the event coordinator sent us three tickets to attend this event.
I am excited because I have always loved looking at old homes and seeing them decorated for the Holidays. Being able to be part of this tour is a dream come through for me. I just wish Suzzie were here as she would have loved to attend WALK THROUGH HISTORY AT GRAPEVINE 11TH ANNUAL CANDLELIGHT TOUR OF HOMES as much as I am going to. Although it’s OK Suzzie isn’t because this gives me the opportunity to share WALK THROUGH HISTORY AT GRAPEVINE 11TH ANNUAL CANDLELIGHT TOUR OF HOMES with Charlie and David. I would like to remind you to be watching tomorrow to see what all David, Charlie and I saw and how much fun we have.
WALK THROUGH HISTORY AT GRAPEVINE 11TH ANNUAL CANDLELIGHT TOUR OF HOMES NOVEMBER 4
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (October 27, 2017) – See beautiful historic properties on Saturday, November 4 during Grapevine’s 11th Annual Candlelight Tour of Homes presented by the Grapevine Heritage Foundation. Beginning at 4 p.m. at the Ted R. Ware Plaza, 206 W. Hudgins St., participants can purchase wristbands, obtain tour books and a enjoy a complimentary wine tasting from Homestead Winery.
Tickets are $15 per person.
This year’s tour includes six homes in the Township east of Historic Main Street, along with a business located one block off of Main Street. Tour participants can walk the tour route and also ride the complimentary shuttle buses circulating throughout the event. Luminarias will mark each home. As participants stroll through the Historic Township, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, owners will be present to greet all participants and discuss the distinguishing characteristics of their properties. Homes date from 1896 to 2017, and include small and large residences. The Candlelight Tour of Homes concludes at 7 p.m.
