Gotcha Day!: Adoption Tales of Remarkable Rescue Dogs by Greg Murray (Review)

Adult Book Recomendations Pets Review

Charlie and I would like to share a new book for the animal loves or Dog loves in your life. The book is called Gotcha Day! Adoption Tales Of Remarkable Rescue Dogs by Greg Murray. My family received a copy of the book in exchange for this review. Inside this post are my affiliate links. If you click on the links and make a purchase I will make a small percentage off the books you purchase.

Gotcha Day! Adoption Tales Of Remarkable Rescue Dogs would have been a book Charlie would have read in his homeschool reading class but as you know Charlie has graduated. But being a family of Pet-Lovers especially DOGS and being a dog family Gotcha Day! was a must-read book for my family/

Join my family as we will be using Gotch Day! when we study not only dogs but animals because even though Charlie has graduated learning shouldn’t stop. Our family will bring the book with us to our local animal shelter to see if we see any of these breeds of dogs found inside the book. Would you like to join us on our Field Trip?

I just wish David were here because I know he would enjoy hearing the stories of the dogs. Before I share my thoughts with you Suzzie’s dog Sam was a rescue dog. So was my Saint Bernard Apache more than that though Pheobie my Rat Terrier from David and Charlie is also a Rescue Doggy and the best dog ahem person ever. If your thinking of getting a dog or even cat for your home please looking into rescuing a animal because they need love and will give you unconditional love.

I wish you could see the Puppy on the cover of the book he looks like he wants to give you a lick or two. I love his face which is half white and half grey Charlie says. This dog looks so sturdy and that he could knock you off your feet if your not careful. But it would be all in good fun and love. Charlie says him and Annie our Rescue dog would be best friends.

Charlie and I opened Gotcha Day! Adoption Tales of Remarkable Rescue Dogs and began reading and there is a black dog that looks so sad. I’m telling you we need to bring him home asap. I like how the author gives kudos to rescue volunteer’s who take care of these dogs. Charlie and I had fun browsing the table of contents before we dived into the book.

The first dog we meet is Tizzy who replaced the families other dogs who passed away within weeks of each other. The nice part was they didn’t even have to leave home to find Tizzy because she popped up on Social Media which happens a lot in my area. How about your area are animals shared on Social Media? If you would like to learn amore about Tizzy check out Instagram.

Charlie liked finding the Dog called Waffles who is a Mini Labradoodle that is 5 months old. Wouldn’t you like him? Charlie asked me if I could get in touch with the owner of Gertie A English Bulldog who is 13 years old because this is Charlie’s dream dog. Charlie thought our dog Bear a Chi-Weenie would like Trinket a Chihuahua Mix who is 3 years old. Charlie said Bear and Trinket would be good friends.

I found Selena a Pit Bull who is 6 years old. Selena is the same name of a Singer I like. No, I didn’t want her because I have Pheobie but they could play together. Then low and behold there was Ursula a German Shepard that is 2.5 years old. I would love to meet Ursula and have had Suzzie meet her as well if Suzzie hadn’t passed away. Suzzie had a German Shepard named Sam and if he was still here they could play together but he is in Heaven with Suzzane.

David thought it was funny finding a dog named Pretzel. How about a dog named Hippo Charlie says? Or Maverick which I would like to think is from Top Gun. Before you ask no, this isn’t all the dogs you will find inside the book. You will need to pick up a copy to see what other dogs are in it. Just don’t get distracted by the photographs like my family did. Which was fine because Charlie used the dogs for his Homeschool Art Class:

Gotcha Day! Adoption Tales Of Remarkable Rescue Dogs. is the perfect Coffee Table book and is perfect for people of all ages who love dogs. I could see this book being used in schools as well as animal shelters to educate people on rescue dogs. I can’t wait to pick up a couple copies to donate to a Dog Rescue I know.
